How we handle your personal data.

This notice explains how Quantum Industries s.r.l. processes the personal data of visitors to this website and of those who contact us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian data protection law.

Personal data we process

We only process the personal data needed for the purposes described below. In particular:

Browsing data — technical data that the systems running this website collect automatically when you visit it, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, date and time of the request and the pages visited. These data are not used to identify you.

Data you provide to us — the name, email address and message you enter in the contact form, or the data contained in any email you send us directly.

Cookies and similar technologies — as described in our Cookie Policy.

Please do not include special categories of personal data (for example, data about health, political opinions or religious beliefs) in your messages.

Purposes and legal bases

Responding to your enquiries and handling any subsequent business contact — on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and of our legitimate interest in replying to the communications we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Operating the website and keeping it secure — including preventing abuse and investigating security incidents, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Managing cookie preferences and, where required, using non-essential cookies — on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Complying with legal obligations and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims — on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR.

Providing your data through the contact form is optional, but without an email address we cannot reply to you.

Service providers and recipients

Your data are processed by our authorised staff and by the following providers, acting as data processors or, where applicable, as independent controllers:

Aruba S.p.A. (Italy) — website hosting and technical infrastructure.

Formspree, Inc. (United States) — processing and forwarding of the messages sent through the contact form. Privacy policy

Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — Google Fonts, used to display the website typefaces; when a page loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google. Privacy policy

Complianz (WordPress plugin running on our own server) — recording of your cookie consent preferences.

We do not sell your personal data and do not share them with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Data may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.

This website contains a link to our LinkedIn page. If you follow it, LinkedIn processes your data under its own privacy policy.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of the providers listed above are based in, or may process data in, the United States. In these cases, transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards provided for by Chapter V GDPR, such as an adequacy decision (including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for certified companies) or the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Retention

Contact requests — for the time needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and in any case no longer than 24 months after our last exchange, unless a longer period is required by law or to protect our rights.

Browsing data — for the limited period set by our hosting provider for security purposes, unless needed to investigate an incident.

Cookies — for the durations indicated in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Under Articles 15–22 GDPR, you have the right to:

access your personal data and obtain a copy of them;

have inaccurate data rectified and incomplete data completed;

have your data erased, or their processing restricted, in the cases provided for by law;

receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have them transmitted to another controller (data portability);

object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest;

withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, write to info@quantumindustries.it. We will reply without undue delay and in any case within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.

Security and automated decisions

We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Your data are not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
